Story Behind the SongI was listening to rock and country one day, then classic rock. I was in a very fired up mood and thought about a friend of mine; she can get a little rowdy but is still sweet. I thought "she is rowdy but not a redneck" and that changed to redneck and rowdy. And that changed to the title Redneck Rowdy. The words fell into place.
