Song DescriptionI had an urge to write a "young love" song about a sweet country girl from her guys point of view, but one with a little sass, and toss in a laid back way of life. I needed a home town feel. I also wanted this one to have a hard driving beat to it, and that it does.
Story Behind the SongJust wanted to write a kick tail song about two young people in love country style.

Lyrics
RAISED ON COUNTRY
VERSE 1
Her and I this Friday night
Down on the farm gonna do it right
Have a little fun till the cows come home
Climb the loft roll in the hay
Rock the barn till the break of day
Yeah me and her we'll have it goin on
CHORUS
She's corn bread and ice tea, that girl was raised on country
From her head down to her toes
Promenade and do-si-do
She's redneck and crazy, that girl was raised on country
Much sweeter than Brandywine
She's a hundred proof genuine
That girl was raised on country
VERSE 2
Saturday we'll get spruced up
Cruise the town in my pickup truck
Try to find our friends in the afternoon
Later on we'll slip away
Climb in the bed of my Chevrolet
Raise a little hell and howl at the moon
CHORUS
BRIDGE
Yes ma'am, no sir, Sunday dinner after church
Do good, in school, never break the golden rules
Yeah she got her own set of rules
She's corn bread and ice tea / That girl was raised on country
She's redneck and crazy / That girl was raised on country
That girl was raised on country yeah
That girl was raised on country yeah
Raised on country
