Song Description

This song is a simple expression of the feeling that people may confuse your behavior with what's inside of you.

Story Behind the Song

I had the lyrics to this song beating around for awhile in my head (when I was in Philadelphia). Usually a girl I was dating (or her friends) would say...you seem a little too radical...then the chords came along. When we recorded it...We layed down the tracks on 4 track. Then Shonn came over and added his ripping lead work.

Broadjam Member Reviews

I've never heard a song quite like this before. The songwriter hits on a totally original title/concept: being radical. With soaring electric guitars and gritty organic vocals, the singer definitely gets his point across. Atmospherically dark, but not depressing.

Really well done!! Very RADICAL, in a really good way! I love the texture of the sound, and the chaotic feel! Very well played, sung and produced! GREAT job!!

Lyrics

RADICAL

Radical deviation
Radical deviation

Radical me and radical you
Radical things, anti-social things we all do
Radical cars, and radical bars
Radical ends and radical starts
Radical music and radical art

Just cause your're a radical
doesn't mean you've got evil in your heart.

Radical...proceeding form a foundation or root:
drastic, making extreme changes in views, conditions
or habits.
