Story Behind The Song
My friend Jenny goes by the nickname "GalaxyKat" sometimes, and I decided to make a song with that in mind. Mr FijiWiji (from the Monstercat record label) was the biggest inspiration for the sound of this song, particularly his track "Out on a Limb."
Song Description
Sitting at a cool 120 BPM, "GalaxyKat" gives the listener the feeling of flying through outer space, with quite a bounce to the beat. There is elements of dubstep, but it's more of a "plucked" wub, if that makes any sense. I think it's quite a unique sound.
