Song Description

A song about realising that because someone has died it doesn't mean they are no longer with you.

Story Behind the Song

I wrote this song in 10mins a few days after my nan died.

Lyrics

Tonight I stepped outside where I saw a shining light - it was high in the sky. That one star shone so bright and I know that it was you. What are you wanting me to do?

You're a shining light (x3).

Because i know although you're gone you are here with me. Here beside me, here inside me. And I know you're trying to guide me - guide me to your light, show me what is right.

You're a shining light (x4).

Tonight I stepped outside where I saw a shining light - it was high in the sky.
