Story Behind The Song
I was using the riff as a warm up anyway so I decided to compose a cut with it. A riff like that would most often be found in a 1-4-5 type rocker but I wanted to stay away from that so I fashioned an anthem like verse and built to a chorus of minor chords and then back into the riff.
Song Description
Late 60's early 70's feel, think: Sons of Camplin, Electric Flag, Buddy Miles with a little Clapton thrown in. Clapton-like riff but a real melody line in the first verse. More subdued and melodic than most guitar rock. Cool, well placed horn section.
