Story Behind The Song

A few years ago my mother died. Suddnely, without this most influential person here, I had to decide to stay mired in grief and pain - or to take all that she had taught me in life, and all that she and I belived about death as a transition and live it instead. Most people in everyday life make choices, reactions about expereinces lingering in the victim, or negative role, whereas they have the choice to grow, expand, let go of some baggage, and gain something positive if they will alow it.

Every expereicne we have - good, bad or ugly has something to teach us, offers something good, an insight into ourselves or our world - if we will just allow ourselves to consider what that gift, insight might be.
