Story Behind The Song

We had this rock riff floating around, not really sure what to do with it or how it might be part of a song..... so, while tracking our album, we pulled out this riff and started jamming it out. Before we knew it, we had an arrangement and were happy with the groove as well as the feel. We immediately recorded the song, capturing a live off the floor performance; the band being all together in one large room. What you hear on the track is based on pretty much one take, so it's very organic, not a whole lot of overdubs on this track.... it all adds to the authenticity and gives a degree of credibility that makes for an honest sounding, hard driving song.

Written around a catchy rock riff, She Says tips it's hat to the 70's rock era. Drawing on inspiration from classic artists such as Led Zeppelin, delivering a slinky groove with determined energy that never ceases, this is a get on the train before it starts rolling kinda tune!
