Can't Bring Your Whiskey

Story Behind The Song

Popcorn Sutton was a famous moonshiner in the NC/TN mountains. In the early 2000's he was arrested in NC for parole violation, and a lot of mountain folk were trying to raise money for his legal fund. I was inspired for the song when I went into a country store, and saw a plastic jug on the counter at check out that said, "Popcorn Sutton's Legal Fund - Donations Welcome".

If you can't save me from prison, I can't bring you your whiskey no more.

The story behind this song is really neat! The harmonica is really good. The guitar is neat too. The vocal is very good. The band sounds really tight. I liked it a lot. A really fun song. Hope you get out of prison!!!

Excellent music quality. I especially liked the musical bridge
