Lyrics

Ah Yeah Coming at ya straight from J-farms, Baby,
out in the stix.
Downtown - That's where we take it when we wanna get our down on, baby.
We go to take it we go downtown, baby.
That's where we go to get our down on, baby.

But this is what we do during the week.
We got the trucks jacked jacked up.
We got the 4 wheel drive on our F150 trucks.
Out here we don't care if we got clean underwear.
Trucks are dirty so are they thats how we roll in the hay.

Downtown, baby.
That's where we go we get our down on, baby.
We go down.
We go downtown, baby.
That's where we go we get our down on, baby.

You might think downtown's got big, big lights, skyscraper buildings and lots of fights.
But no you would be wrong cause I'm not talking about this.
I'm talking bout trees and lakes out in the stix.

That's called Downtown, baby.
That's where we get go down we go down round round.

We got out trucks in the mud.
We feel like big studs cause we go downtown, baby.
Grab your friends a cooler and all you boys.
Grab your shotgun rifles and your 45.
We're goin hunting, baby.
Bring the dogs, bring the 40/40 logs.
We don't care, everywhere,
Look at that one right in the air.
He just got shoot he went Downtown, baby.
He went Downtown, baby, like a round round round in my oven round, baby.
We don't care throw your hands up in the air.

Round here we grow our own food and
our own ware.
We make our own drinks.
We make our own food.
We can make our own damn cars and boats, too,

Cause we go Downtown, baby.
We wanna get down now, baby.
We take our trucks and go downtown, baby.
All around with your brown down, baby.
Here we go
Get your boots and go down stomp it in the mud take it off take it up roll it roll it make it tight don't make it too tight cause it won't spark right
Don't don't don't jump it up make it good make it count.
Don't dont don't jump it up here we go up here we go down.

Downtown, baby,
You know what I'm talking about.
Downtown, baby.

Feel a little mud in my soul.
I wanna go downtown you know.

Stix and mud won't break no ones bone but it'll
make your soul hard like you don't know
make you tough make you appreciate
what God and Nature made is great!!!

Loved the hook!!! The song has great potential. Definitely had my hang bangin'!! Catchy indeed.

I really like this!!!! It's really different. It has the feel of many different genres. I like this kind of thinking out of the box. It's like a funky country tune!!! Good funky guitar playing. Sweet guitar lead. The drums an almost jazz feel. I like the talking part at the end. Nice touch!!!

This was a fun song with a southern Rock vibe. I thought it was lots of fun and made me smile. The lyrics reflecting a country lifestyle and were fun. I liked the guitar riffs in places. This is one of those songs that made you smile.
