Song Description

Blend of the Denial/Bargaining Stage of the 5 Stages of Grief

Story Behind the Song

This song would fit the "Bargaining" stage in the Five Stages of Grief. Remembering the good times and being lost in a delusion that there is a way to recapture those vaporized moments. But told in argument, so things get nasty. We wanted to accent the feel with the Chainsaw ripping, Harley riding, Open Road to Vegas Guitars and it just wrote itself with musical and vocal accents.

I wasn't one that wanted this,
I never wanted the pain
If only time would fly by to feel within,
We'd build the same whole life again

Oh What a Ride, I'd Hang on tight
It's been so long, that you wanted it inside you
You were so tight, and I won't lie
You'll take it deep, just one more time...

I can fix, It ALL, you'll see that we ain't done
So don't hide, don't run, you're stuck here cuz
We ain't done yet

I bought it all for keeps, but you gave it all way
You didn't feel the reel of my suffering,
So bled out all of the memories

You're mine, you made me shine,
but the cost a lost, the trust a bust

I couldn't see you're love for me
You coulda said it's dead and end my misery

I can fix, It ALL, you'll see that we ain't done
So don't hide, don't run, you're stuck here cuz
We ain't done...Yet!!

I'm Doing my best to move on,
Im doing my best to Let go

No love was returned, until I learned Quick
It's living nightmare, or being love sick...
