Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song after the death of my brother, 10 years older than me. He was 50 years old. He died from a long battle with substance abuse (crack). We live in different states. When I got the call that he was not going to make it, I drove 9.5 hours through the night and ran through the hospital parking lot. I got there 15 minutes too late. I wanted to say so many things, as the relationship had deteriorated in later years due to his desperate need for money to get drugs. I wanted to say things, but didn't get to. That's what this song is about.
