Story Behind The Song
My band plays the song Miser Lou by Dick Dale. At the end we some times improvise for a few bars. This lick came out of that live jam and it turned into a complete song all it's own. Very much as if Miser Lou gave birth! I went through 5 drummers trying to record this song!
Song Description
A creepy spine chilling intro leads into the signature lick then to a very fast weird melodic verse. There are breaks between each section with the signature lick. The bridge adds a lot of tension and that releases to the signature lick again. Each of the three verses is played up the neck higher and higher.
