"Big Brother Song"

Story Behind The Song

The story behind the song is about a lot of peoples' desire for fame, at a hgh price or any price. How exploiting a good body alone can bring fame and how quickly success disappears when the body is not so toned or looking good. I think the actual lines describing this body change are wicked, funny and hard hitting to us women in particular, but that is how it is. Women are generally more beautiful and generally lose more as they get older, than men.

Song Description

It describes a contestant(in my mind, female), getting a place on the show to become famous. She is willing to show more of her body off than the others to achieve fame. She believes she will be the winner of the show just because she is in it. Once famous, the telephone rules her life as a TV commuter and the last verse describes ageing and decreasing fame.

Lyrics

?Big Brother?

Got a place on Big Brother
where we?ll love one another,
birthday suits under covers
I?ll show more than the others
for fame.

Can?t you see that I?ll win it
just because I am in it,
video, or just bin it
fill your tapes, sixty minutes
of fame

Telephones trap your future
put your life in a suture,
make you junk your false computer
no longer be a tech commuter
for fame

When your figure is sagging
and your pipes need new lagging,
all the tongues will stop wagging
no more big bucks from haggling
for fame
