Story Behind The Song

Straightforward chord sequence led to the chorus hook of 'Caught Out On Love'. I knew the line didn't make sense but absolutely did at the same time so I kept it! Demoed it straight away at Open Mic event - guy came up to me and said that every word in the song was totally valid to him and how he was feeling. He thanked me for the song. I was going to work on the lyrics further but decided to hold them as they were.
