Complete Disgrace

Story Behind The Song

Complete Disgrace started life as a 49-second parody of bad DDR made-to-be-difficult songs. These songs are made just for the sake of being difficult, and providing an excuse to lay down the songs with insane steps, and are available twelve to the dozen on PC DDR simulators. I created impossible steps to go with the PC simulator and released it to the public. Since then, I have found myself growing to love the sheer insanity of the song, and I began to refine it to greater lengths and improved rythyms. After a while the Dance Dance Revolution song contest was annouced, and I initially thought nothing of it as I am not a musician of the standard that I knew I would be competing with. Then once I read the rules, I had a thought. Complete Disgrace was valid according to all of the rules set down, with the only issue of song length. What better a submission that, despite being initially as tuneful as a skinned bag of cats, one designed from the ground up for a dancing game? So I worked to bring the song up to standard length, and I made sure that I did not compromise the intensity and the exhaustive listening of the original, and I am satisfied with what I produced. Even if it is a complete disgrace.
