Story Behind The Song
This is a coming of age song, depicting a young man who struggles with identity and the plan for his life, and wants to do great things with the talents he has, yet feels unappreciate and doubtful that these dreams are achievable. Although "mama" used to tell him he would do great things he does not realize and truly believe this until he meets his "perfect love" created especially for him that brings good things out of him, weaving a perfect tapestry of life, and truly becoming a man.
I composed this song for my wife at our wedding in December 2007.
Song Description
Part of growing up is searching and finding out who you are and what makes you special and unique and sets you apart form others. Many times these are things that parents have told you your whole life and they are only realized when you find a soul-mate who was created for you and brings out all the good things that have been cultivated over a life of successes and failures, good decisions and mistakes.

Lyrics
In this busy crazy world, I was looking for perfection.
I was broken, fragile and frail, until you came my direction.
Like Jeremiah, I wondered if there was a plan or a God above.
I never thought I?d have the answers until I found perfect love.
Mamma always used to tell that I was a special creation, made totally awesome.
But I would disagree, how could anybody ever love with so much passion?
I couldn?t understand the action, but now I see.
That I was created for you, and you were created for me.
Long before time in the womb of the earth, our lives were knit together, in a perfect tapestry.
All that you are, and in the future will be, combined together with me.
Now the word of the Lord, it is coming to me.
Says I?ve, plans to give you happiness and peace.
But like Jeremiah, I didn?t believe it, yeah I couldn?t see.
Chose a futile path of vanity, of bitter wandering.
