Are you sad because your woman left you? Or are you relieved to be out of a relationship whose only remaining goodness is found in dreams of another, earlier time? Is the depression the result of a lost love, or is it caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain that you don't know about.? Either way, there is color to the world. A desire to withdraw from the world is enabled by an apathetic listlessness. And because you don't know about the chemical imbalance, you think it is grief at the lost love. The only thilng you find appealing is to go back to sleep, escape from the seemingly hopeless existence to seek peace in dreams.
