Lyrics
(1) Sweet rain on the roof. I got the thing to ease my pain. Don't know that I will. The statuette in the window-pane calls to me in secret by name.
(2) Call it love, call it hate. I could wait for a while 'cause I've got time greater than stars. On the roof it's a ragged romance calling me from Venus and Mars.
(Bridge 1) All alone in the world I stand my ground. My ship dancing on the waters. Joseph's coat of many colors. Then a light in the darkness drove away my fears; the years.
(3) Rain turning to snow. And in my mind on a tiny island, sea breeze in the air, and in a moment my heart believes in miracles. I know it, you care.
(Bridge 2) All the love in the world I smile today. Inner light in utter darkness. Sunny shark in festive waters. Then the wind in a moment blew away my tears, so clear.
(Bridge 3) Deep black water; Ice bright night. My only prayer: I would do anything if you'd come home.
(Verse 4) No rain on the roof. Don't need a thing to ease my pain, but to think of you still. The statuette in the window has no love for me and it never will!
