This song was the first song written by Barakus, and was a tune that Matt Code originally introduced in the basement of Matthew Manos' townhouse.
Song Description
Outside Looking In flaunts the same ambient feel that Barakus brings to many of its songs, which is accomplished by beautiful acoustic guitar tones and accompanying electric lead lines. The song structure is somewhat atypical, as the song flows from section to section, repeating certain pieces of each with repeating the sections in their entirety. This is the first Barakus song to have a guitar solo as well, which leads into a more energetic outro that serves as the backdrop for Code's passionate wails.
