Story Behind The Song
It's a story of me and my 2 best friends taking a trip to the beach in the middle of the night. There were planes landing in a near airport and it seemed they were coming straight at us. In retrospective the frienships of me and my friends changed and were ruined becuase of the distance, it is a melancholy song remenicing good times with friends, and the ocean being a witness to the change.
Song Description
The ocean is the distance between my home of Israel and Boston, where I moved for school. When I fly back and forth, it's always above the water. I feel like the ocean is th e witness of my travels, my homesickness and the changes in friendships.

Lyrics
I don't know who said it first
Whose Idea, and whose words
To run away into the night with glossy lips and shiny eyes
The taxi ride was long with all of us
It was late and we missed the bus
And from far away we heard those endless waves
We sunk our feet into the sand
The sweet beginning of the end
We talked each other through those times
Of first kisses and last cries
The ocean heard, the ocean knew
The ocean sang the blues
We were pointing at the lights
That came across the water in the sky
They were coming straight at us in our crazy, tired minds
Yeah, we all laughed and the ocean cried
Cause it saw me land and it'll see my fly
And the ocean sang the blues for us
And now I'm on the other side
I see planes land and I see lights fly
I close my eyes and I can hear
Close my eyes and I can still hear
How the ocean sings the blues, still
