Story Behind The Song

Justsaw through Broadjam that there is a need for ad songs for a paper company and only have a short time to write something so I wrote about paper, trying to include what the guidelines have requested, no time to do a music track so it's a rough draft but just something to work with if anyone is interested

Paper doesn't really get much credit,
Though every day it plays a vital part,
What about the Birthday cards and Valentines,

Business men hold meetings, and all who must attend,
Know to bring some paper, a pencil or a pen,
The agenda it is neatly typed the margins equal left and right
They copy and they collate, the folders they look really great,
You couldn't run a business without paper.

The flipchart and the photographs are paper,
The coffee cups and Danish dollies too,
It's amazing what this product can accomplish,
There's really nothing paper cannot do!

And don't forget the lowly little toothpick,
It's just a fragment from a mighty oak,
Out of something huge came something very small,
But when you need a tooth pick, it's no joke.

From East to West the world is filled with paper,
You can travel on a paper trail,
You can cut it, you can fold it, you can spend it,
The possibilities are endless you can tell,
All in all it's served us very well....
