REFRAIN:
I?m building a house made of stumbling blocks.
The walls will be secure, as solid as rocks.
My mistakes are many, my lessons I?ve learned,
So I can build my house made of stumbling blocks.
1.Each day can be a challenge, I've not always done what's right.
I've learned to make some changes, and I've seen the light.
Growth and change bring you wisdom, they're the mortar I use,
To build my house made of stumbling blocks.
REFRAIN
2.I've been blessed with an angel who helps me each day.
Her love and understanding have shown me the way.
She saw through my rough spots when she said, "I do."
Through thick and through thin she still sais, "I love you."
REFRAIN
BRIDGE:
I'll build the first floor with patience.
The second with understanding.
I'll side the house with happy memories.
To top it off, the roof will be love.
