Song Description

It's about a person who has given up or has a lot of regret and singer is trying to tell them to wake up.

Story Behind the Song

I had a fan that touched my heart. She was mostly alone and sad, yet she had so much she to live for. She ended up dying of an overdose alone in her house. She had given up. This song is about me telling her, before she died, that life was waiting for her to wake up and live it.

Lyrics

VERSE 1
Draw the blinds, go look outside
It's you and it's me
The deafening drone, is life passing by
Invites you in so desperately

CHORUS
So start waking, quit your somedaying
Open your eyes it's the morning
And I 'm praying that your not fading
Open your eyes to the morning

VERSE 2
Take my hand, let's fly over head
Alluring harmony
You hold the key, what do you foresee
You can place all your bets
Just get off your regret??CHORUS
SOLO

VERSE 3
It's a wonderful thought, to see possibility
Everything in you and everything in me
It's never ending....it can't be

CHORUS
SOLO
