Uroboros

I'm not a poor beggar or a prince in white robe
Not a diamond that's precious, nor a leaf in a storm
I wake up each day and roaming the globe
One step at a time my path is being drawn.

Days change into years and years into decades
And Nature the secrets of life still retain.
Creatures emerge, shine a while and decay.
But the timeless continuum will always remain.

I cross many mortals, their goodness is gone
The players are chasing a chimerical ball.
They'll swear they are right, and with shining drawn swords,
They joust with each other till all of them fall.

I am struck by the sights and the clatter of war
How can they be so cruel, and their hearts be so cold
Is their suffering needed for mankind to improve?
When the omens of change are so clear and so bold.

With my head in the sky, crossing mountains and plains
From the grand Uroboros I still learn to be whole
Disentangle my ties, renounce quests that are vain
The elixir that remains is compassion for all.

Let's count drops of rain and gaze at a rainbow
Let's fly on a magical ship, painted gold.
With fresh crispy air, in a sweet amber glow
Gently touching each other, until love will unfold.
