In his mind, he visualizes holding on to a balloon...sailing higher than a mile...but still there is no one around. No one seems to care. His conclusion..."its a lonely road.....is there and always is".
Story Behind the SongAndrew Neil struggles with Mental Illness and is currently committed to a State Mental Hospital in Virginia. He write this song in his hospital room, where he recorded it on a cheap battery powered recorder. The song talks about his lonely struggle with his illness and his struggle to find someone to help him fend off the intense loneliness he feels.
