Song Description

Its about finding the courage to speak your own truth. Every person has a purpose, a reason for living & it's important to remain true to yourself. This song is about finding your voice & having the courage to express it. It's about getting involved. Whether it's voting, protesting or volunteering or finding another way to make a difference. If we continue to believe that "I'm just one person, what difference could I make, so why should I even try" then the world will continue to be in the state it's in. In the word of Macy Gray "Get up - get out & DO SOMETHING!"

Story Behind the Song

It began with a conversation about how people sit around & complain that nothing gets done, but they won't get involved to make it happen. "I'm just one person, what difference could I make?" If each one of us could realize just how much every single one of us really matters, bigger changes in the world could be made.

Lyrics

Invisible
Written by Anastasia Gilliam & Nils Rosenblad
(Considered for nomination for BEST SONG of the YEAR 2006 by the Hawaiian Academy of Recording Artists 2006)

There's something bigger going on than meets the eye
Don't feel small or insignificant
When you're feeling alone, disconnected from the world
Know that you're a part of a greater whole

Chorus:
Don't feel invisible
with one love we're indivisible

If you feel pushed by circumstance
Know that every voice can be significant
Don't be afraid to speak the truth that seems so obvious
Trust in love to make us one in this

Chorus:
Don't feel invisible
with one love we're indivisible
