I never met my father until I was seventeen. My mother told me about the sisters that I had from his second marriage but their mother never told them about me. My father never told them either. I wondered if they knew what I had been thinking about them and if they had had the same thoughts. I found out about them when I was nine so I had more time then they did to think about them.
