Song Description

Lovers eventually grow apart and become just friends.

Broadjam Member Reviews

Nice chord changes, really adds emotion. Like the organ punches. Great vocal tone. Tasty guitar. Really like the way it builds, nicely done.

    - Marc S. Pate

I hate it when you love someone and they want to be friends. I loved your voice, you have a very verstile voice, could be rock, pop, or country. The production is very good, pitch is spot on.The lyrics told a nice story but felt the chorus needed a bit more. I really liked the song and the ending was good. Good luck with the song, it has been petential.

Lyrics

Just Friends

(Verse)

What if it really didn't matter anymore

And truth had nothing to say

Say you given up on love , you lost faith in the power of

The dawn of a brand new day, like it really didn't matter anyway

(Chorus)

I've seen that movie too, he kissed her and pretends

He don't love her anymore

Two people fall in love, make a wish on the stars above

And end up somehow, Just friends

(Verse)

If all you need is love

If love is all you need to be free

Why does it hurt so bad to lose a love that you never had

Like it was never meant to be, It's still a mystery to me

2.

(Chorus)

I've seen that movie too, He kissed her and pretends

He don't love her anymore

Two people fall in love, make a wish on the stars above

And end up somehow, Just friends

(Bridge)

It's a modern day tragedy

You take a risk you play a part

Frail humanity never fails to break a heart

(Chorus)

I've seen that movie too, He kissed her and pretends

He don't love her anymore

Two people fall in love, make a wish on the stars above

Next time it'll be a lot better, Don't you know that you can't give up

And end up somehow, Just friends, Just friends

3.

You used to be lovers Just Friends

Now you're world's apart "

Can you rediscover "

Your feelings from the heart "

Why don't you get together "

Try to make a new start "

And maybe someday "

You can be more than "
