The modern humans - all of us, right now, whether we like or not - are choosing pills to replace needs: emotions, sensory input, food, rest. We choose laboratory-engineered input over natural growth. We choose to die comfortable rather than evolve our species.
We hate who we are, so we inject toxic chemicals into ourselves and into our waters. We remold our faces with plastic. We bury our natural smell under chemical aromas.
But because we choose to do this, we can choose otherwise.
