Song Description

This song is about finding yourself in the most ideal of loving relationships, only to wake up and discover that it was all a dream.

Story Behind the Song

This song came to me in a dream, literally. It started out as a guitar instrumental, but eventually I added song lyrics to it. I loved the instrumental version so much, however, that I decided to record both an instrumental and a vocal version of it.

Playlists this song is on:

The Dream

The Start: it all began with a smile and a hello.

The Eyes: they couldn't tear themselves away from the sight.

The Words: they had a flow of their own with a rhythm.

The Smile: it made a bright and sunny day in the night.

The Nerves: it's time to make a move. It's now or never.

The "In": oh, is the answer yes or no.

The Touch: it was a shock to the system indeed

The Kiss: so soft and sweet, it lasted a while

The Night: it was electric, and the passion was wild

The Day: they couldn't get each other out of their minds

The Like: it's always good to be friends before lovers

The Love: you couldn't take the love away

The Truth: oh was it really much too good to be true

The Tears: the tears of joy from a love like no other

The Head: it's trying to tell you that something was wrong

The Mind: it's trying to turn the fantasy into the real

The Heart: it's beating quickly as it senses the end

The End: it only really was a dream
