Story Behind The Song
I wrote the acoustic part many years ago for fun. This song startis with the opening and main rhythm on acoustic guitar (Alvarez AJ-60SC). Then I added bass, percussion and strings. I play all instruments although I'm new to the bass guitar. The drums are a used set of Roland V-Drums I'd just bought so there's some fizzes in there due to connection issues. Also the strings are from an ancient Yamaha PSS-795 keyboard I've had forever. Basically, this is an attempt to do multiple instruments in one recording using a Fostex MR-8 digital recorder. Not polished but I like it.
Song Description
An instrumental interpretation of a summer storm, beginning with the calm of sunlight, interrupted by a drizzle, then blowing into a full storm. As the storm abates, the calm returns with a touch of brightness.
