Lyrics

KENTUCKY BROUGHT ME HOME
I came into town a broken man
Did not know, could not understand
If I gave up my selfish will
I'd find Love within these hills
I'm a stranger, I can't claim her
Though this land is not my own
Kentucky brought me home
Yeah, I've seen a lot of pain
But I learned to live again
Put my faith in God above
And a little bluegrass love
I'm a stranger, I can't claim her
Though this land is not my own
Kentucky brought me home

Good title; good vocal, good instrumentation, good, happy feel in line with a good bluegrass uptempo song. I can see a bluegrass band wanting to do this song. The recording is very clear and I believe broadcast quality. The instrumentation is very good. Unfortunately, we don't see bluegrass much on CMT, but this remains a good song for a bluegrass artist or band.
