My son really knows how to live and love life. He does things that many tell him not to do. He doesn't have fame or money but for him it doesn't get better than living your life the way you want to do it. We bought him a teeshirt with the line Don't Harsh My Mellow. That line made it into the song in the context of Leave an old man alone and don't you harsh my mellow.

Song Description

The driving theme of this song is around the thoughts of a young guy just out having a good time and thinking, it don't get better than this... living my life. Starts out with the fun of driving a truck in the mud then the normalcy of a day to day low paying job and the fun a Friday paycheck brings when you're a young guy. Then the final verse is when the young guy gets older and and spends a lot of time looking back on his younger days. I love the line, When my hair turns white and my teeth turn yellow.
