Story Behind the SongI play out quite a bit, and really got tired of playing the old standby happy birthday song.
So a few weeks back I was singing the traditional Happy Birthday song over the phone to my neice and thought to myself after doing the deed, I could write my own happy birthday song!
So I did, and although it's not totally age appropriate for an eight year old, it works for pretty much anyone older than 30ish.
Enjoy and share with all people sick of playing happy Birthday Live!
Lyrics
Well another year has gone on bye
and my neck and back want to make me cry
Happy birthday, happy birthday to me..
ain't alot of words in this song
cause I'm old and might not live that long...
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to me....
Oh Happy Birthday, Oh Happy Birthday, Oh happy birthday.. to me..
Oh Happy Birthday, Oh Happy Birthday,Happy Birthday wishes to me...
Well I can't hear or see anything,
all my teeth are gone ya gotta help me sing...
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to me...
And now my song is almost done, won't ya raise a glass and cheer someone, happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to me...
Oh Happy Birthday, Oh Happy Birthday, Oh happy birthday.. to me..
Oh Happy Birthday, Oh Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday wishes to me...
