A song about a young girl who has been out drinking with her friends. She meet a guy. By the end of the evening, she's had quite a bit to drink. She leave on her own, very much the worse for wear, to makes her way home by her own devises. Fortunately in this real life scenario, on most occasions, the girl makes it home safely. This is one such occasion. However, a question remains unanswered! "How do they do they make it home in such a state?". Is someone or something looking out for them?

Lyrics

BEATING WINGS OF HER ANGEL

It's late in the evening and she's missed the last train home
Too much to drink and now she's walking home alone
She's dressed for the summer in the snow
A dress or a t-shirt? I don't know!

It's late in the evening and she's missed the last train home
No money for a taxi and no credit on her phone
The ice and the snow covers the ground
But she feels safe 'cos she hears the sound

Of the beating wings of her angel
The beating wings of her guiding light
The beating wings of her angel
There making sure she's safe tonight

She's watching the shadows as she's walking home alone
Thinking of the evening and wondering if he'll phone
She carries on without a care in the world
She knows he's there 'cos she hears the sound

Of the beating wings of her angel
The beating wings of her guiding light
The beating wings of her angel
There making sure she's safe tonight

Sometimes she runs sometimes she's scared
But in the end she doesn't care
Because she knows she got a friend in

The beating wings of her angel
The beating wings of her guiding light
The beating wings of her angel
There making sure she's safe tonight

Great music and song subject.

Trippy track with grunge, acid rock influences- Curt Cobain lives, nice guitars

Liked the concept and theme. Good vocal attitude. Especially liked how the sound bloomed at 1:45 and a couple other places. Nice job with the varied sound and patterns of the various sections. Over 5 min. can be difficult to pull off without mixing that up a bit, and you did that well. Liked the guitar solo at the end.

like the floyd style vocal/vibe. lyrically interesting, nice guitar work, good eventual build!
