Cool duet, cool groove!

    - Barbara Kessler

Loved this song. Main reason: S-O-L-I-D slow burn, slow groove with soul! Also thought the guitar sections were majestic with excellent tone and control. Called to mind players like Mick Ralphs and Leslie West (that's a big compliment). Ideally, songs are about feeling and this one had it.

Lyrics

Love At First Sight. ©2004

It was a cold night out in the city.
I was feeling down and low.
Sitting alone in a bar
with my head in the blues.
I started talking but no one was listening.
I hit the bottle but no one was drinking.
I looked around and thatÂ?s when I noticed you.
-------------------------------------
Chorus
One smile, one look! One wink, thatÂ?s all it took!
One wave, one glance! One hope, one chance!
It felt so right. I know itÂ?s crazy
but maybe this is love at first sight.
-------------------------------------

You looked so good under the spotlight.
You were the star that lit up the room.
And all the guys in the bar
turned their heads and said wow.
Your eyes were flirting and looking me over.
You started moving your body much closer
And I could feel all the heat and the sweat on my brow.
-------------------------------------
Chorus
One smile, one look! One wink, thatÂ?s all it took!
One wave, one glance! One hope, one chance!
It felt so right. I know itÂ?s crazy
but maybe this is love at first sight.
-------------------------------------
Repeat Chorus
