Whether she was tapping out a rhythm, or humming a melody
Boy that woman was a music lover, as a child it plain to see
When my brother would get on his Ludwigs
And my sisters on their strings and keys
Mom would drop what she's doing
To hear her home grown symphony

Music was her greatest medicine a comfort to her soul
Whether Dad was picking out that Wild Wood Flower or the Opry was on the radio
But I never seen her eyes light up
Like when her angels would play
She'd run into that living room
Cause her symphony was on today
