DOOBY DOO Copyright Earl.C.Webb, Tabitha Webb, Carolyn Baron

When I can't think of what to say
And nothing ever seems to go my way
The conversation makes no sense
I can't decide I'm on the fence

A snap decision's hard to make
Cause' I'm not sure which road to take
If I'm confronting all my fears
I'll put my fingers in my ears, and go

Do do dooby do do
Do do dooby do do, oh oh and I don't hear a word they say
Do do dooby do do
Do do dooby do do, oh oh I'm a million miles away, and that's where I want to stay.

Somebody's talking on the phone
And all I want to be is left alone
What you're trying to sell is far too much
What you're saying sounds like double Dutch, it's just

Do do dooby do do
Do do dooby do do oh oh and I don't hear a word you say
Do do dooby do do
Do do dooby do do oh oh I'm a million miles away, and that's where I want to stay.

My ears are blocked so I can't hear you
My eyes are shut so all I see is clear blue

Do do dooby do do
Do do dooby do do oh oh I don't hear a word you say
Do do dooby do do
Do do dooby do do oh oh I'm a million miles away, and that's where I want to stay.
Repeat to fade

Really catchy and cute chorus on this one... telling the tale of indecision and competing priorities... then just trying to block it all out to decompress.

The vocalist sounds very familiar... which is a good thing. Nice "surprise" in the bridge and I like the modulation back to the chorus. The slide guitar part through the closing choruses is a tasteful part. The simplistic and minimalist production is perfect for this piece. Well done!

I think the absence of an intro works well for the song. The song is catchy. The tone of the vocalist works really well for the song and the backing vocals work really well too. There's some lovely musicianship in the song. Strong lyrics...I like the 'million miles away idea'. Good sound quality. The song reminds me of The Cardigans.

I liked the melody and it was sang very well. I liked the tone in your voice and the recording seemed to be professional and mixed very well. I loved the melody and instrumentation in the song. it was very young and cute.

The song is very strong. I could only think to suggest is to reconsider some of the vocal phrasing and delivery. The vocal feels stilted in a few places, but that is easily remedied through small adjustments in technique. I like it!

Sounds very marketable!
