Story Behind The Song
Heres a song that I wrote a year and a half ago.....I was working down in Virginia and had a long drive back and I stopped into a convenience store and got a drink, while getting one, a drink, I heard this man enter the store and even with his voice something struck me about him I turned around and he was blind and he had a companion with him, a dog...it struck a nerve with me(good). I followed him out (and held the door for him and his dog) and watched them walk up the street and they crossed it. I can't imagine to be blind and to have to rely on a dog for your eyes...wow. All the way back to MD I was eager to write a song about it and earlier that week The ATK (Rob) told me about this girl we used to know who's living on the streets in Baltimore and that she's not looking good at all and got mixed up into some hard drugs....I hope she's doing better...a lot better.
Anyway enjoy...I'm more of a songwriter than a singer, but you get the jist of it...give me a thumbs up if you like or the criticism...either/or...... chillax and let the words and music relate to my story I told you above or perceive it any way you want....
