Song Description

A girl discovers her boyfriend cheating by kissing another girl and as a result is heartbroken. She breaks up with him and has the will power to get over him and move on.

Story Behind the Song

When looking for inspiration to start writing a new song, I looked to my text mesages and saw that my fiance Sami wrote me a text message with the phrase "See you later love". I liked the sound of that, and it evolved with a twist being a song about a break up. I wanted it to appeal to the youthful teen generation.

Lyrics

Don't need to hear you're sorry
Cause I caught you red-handed
There you two were kissin'
Behind the high school gym in secret
So just go be with her cause now I know you're just a two-timer
And a love faker

Chorus: See ya, see ya later love
I don't, I don't need ya
You broke, broke my heart in two
Then left, left me badly bruised
Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
I'll say goodbye to him, hello to being young
And see ya later love

Took down the picture of us
I'm done with you, moving on is a must
No need to reminisce
Your kiss is so not worth it
Deleted you from my phone, don't even bother calling me anymore
That was strike four!

Chorus: See ya, see ya later love
I don't, I don't need ya
You broke, broke my heart in two
Then left, left me badly bruised
I'll say goodbye to him, hello to being young
And see ya later love

Bridge: The taste of deceit, it must taste sweet to you
But not so much to me
The blame is all on you and not on me

Chorus: See ya, see ya later love
I don't, I don't need ya
You broke, broke my heart in two
And now, now I'm done with you
I'll say goodbye to him, hello to being young
And see ya later love

See ya later, see ya later, see ya later love 4x
