Story Behind The Song
I spent much of my first year of marriage on tour. Being away from my wife was the hardest part of being a professional musician. When I returned home, I was so moved by her love, so inspired by being close to her, that I wrote this song to connect us while I was away on the next tour.
Song Description
A moving acoustic slow-dance ballad about love defying distance. In the first verse, the lovers stay up all night, dancing under the stars; in the second, our lovers are apart but their love connects them despite the distance.
