General Comments

These are some great lyrics!
The melodies of the vocals are good.
The overall recording is ok
the mix could have a litte more excitment!
things like some effects on the vocals like reverb, delays, or maybe even a little Autotune..

Artist's Submitted Question:

Greetings in peace and oneness.
Could you evaluate this song for film and TV placement? Also, I am striving to become a ghost writer rather than an artist so if you can comment on the lyrical content I'd appreciate that as well as any other feedback you can offer. I'm open to advice on how to bring my projects to the highest level. I appreciate your time. -Sistah Fiyah (I'm everywhere and nowhere)

Pro's Answer/Comments:

Sistah Fiyah I am really inspired by your lyrics! This type of record would be outstanding for film or tv placement. For those types of placements your record will need broadcast quality mix. Honestly the in is mix well. The clap could be turned up a bit. generally the clap/snare or snaps should be at the same level as the lead vocal when mixing Pop/R&B/.
overall the instrumental is mixed well.
Vocally The main melody is very strong! Maybe its a bit repetitive. maybe you you could change up melody or have a variation of the main melody as the verse! The key here is excitement and keeping your listeners interest all of the way through the song. I do Think this track has a great deal of potential.
With the right mix and vocal arrangement I think it could get place without a doubt.
As far as ghost writing it can be very difficult to break into, having a catalog of music is very important and having conections is just as important. I would love to listen to mor of your msuic and help you with getting more information on how to get to that level.
As far as the Lyrical content of this record like i said the lyrics are very powerful and inspirational.
songwriting is about telling a story no matter what the subject is!
every song you write should answer 3 questions:
1. WHO'S talking and to WHOM?
2. WHAT are you talking about?
3. and WHY are you talking about it?
I hope this helps you in your journey .. I am available anytime to discuss any of this Thanks
