Natasha has worked with GMM Grammy Co., Ltd, BKK, Thailand (2005) as a solo performing singer/songwriter underGreenlight label; Last year she has collaborated with the highly-respected Musician/Producer Ton, Teerapong Sawaswongse (Spicy Disc Records), who had produced many radio-hit artists in BKK, for a series of jazz standards covers as a master Demo (2007); and also worked at The Monk Studio, BKK, Thailand (2007-2008) as a voice actress for a 3D Animation TV show (Walls Ice-cream (Uniliver, Co., Ltd.) "Cyberion: Paddle-Pop Kingdom") - has worked with David J. Smith and Suponwich "Juck" Somsamarn (Rhythm and Hues, Co., Ltd), whose previous Hollywood productions include Happy Feet, Nutty Professor, Night at The Museum, just to name a few. Recently, Natasha's recording of Fly Me To The Moon has also been chosen to be featured in the Talent Page and to be in the compilation album "New Horizon" produced by D&M Music, which is available for sale online and in selected record stores.

Biography

Natasha L. Patamapongs - Born in Philadelphia, raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Natasha is in her 4th and final year at Carnegie Mellon University, and is currently a candidate for a Bachelor Degree majoring in Humanities and Arts (dual in Music Technology and International Relations) and minoring in Jazz Vocal Performance. In Jazz, Natasha loves the music of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, and other male vocalists with similar vocal styles and swings, and she covers a lot of their music during at her regular gigs. Natasha's vocal style is warm and simple, yet pureand expressive. In her singing you can hear also hear theinfluences ofmusical theater, disney soundtracks, and twee-pop style, as well as male jazz artists in the swing era.Her musical performance experiences includes various regular coffee shops, pub/restuarants, private parties, semi-formals, and more. Often performs with a pianist, a percussionist, and a couple of soloists, Natasha also does occasional solo acts as a singer/guitarist. Currently Natasha is musically active as a jazz vocalist, on and off campus, in Pittsburgh area.
