Martin Jenkins is a seasoned piano vocalist who has worked in hotels in Malta for most of his life and has also gained a few years experience in the cruise industry.
His main likes are jazz and any music that is written from inspiration. He believes that your heart has to be in the music and life with all it`s hang ups matures you as a musician/composer.
Since his early twenties he has practiced mediation on a semi-regular basis and in 2007 he pooled his musical and meditation experience to create a set of guided meditation cds . More info can be found at www.help-yourself.biz
He is concentrating more and more on composing and hopes to get his music into film.

Who is Martin Jenkins?
Born in Malta in 1959, he showed a keen interest in music and started taking piano lessons at around 8 and a half years old.
A solid foundation in classical training and meanwhile an interest in pop music and later in jazz and improvisation. In his early twenties Martin also became interested in meditation and yoga.
He has worked as a professional piano vocalist for many years, mostly solo but also leading bands. Apart form playing in Malta for most of his life, he has also gained experience on cruise ships.
Currently he is back in Malta and concentrating more on composing, hoping to make a future for himself in this area.
In 2007 he pooled his musical and meditation experience and created a set of guided meditation cds (you can see them at www.help-yourself.biz).
Although 48 years old, Martin believes in staying young and tries to stay in good shape to match his younger mind set.
