On August 4th, 2004, Marianne Baker quit her day job. At only 21, she way the office manager of a growing software company in Toronto. She took what was supposed to be a five-day vacation in Vancouver, British Columbia, and never returned. Within 3 months, she had established herself with a roommate, a part-time waitressing job, and reclaimed her youth. Now she's writing hip-hop music, practicing her guitar and flute, petting her cat and working on her tan in the most beautiful city in the world.
