• Lessons are tailor-made for each student,
• Age, stage, gender, culture or language are no barrier to enhancing one's musicality,
• Vocal expression is foundational to all instrumental instruction,
• Lessons commence with a process where students directly become involved in making and experiencing music - thus learning through the joy of creation - learning involves moving from hand to heart to head sequentially,
• Learning by ear and imitation or the use of direct visual cues,
• Being involved creatively in the music making process happens from lesson one
• Writing and reading music notation is also developed as part of the students capacity to becoming a global musical citizen

Marek has received many awards for his original compositions. As a recording artist, Marek has produced 12 albums of music that are acoustic in nature and family friendly.
The philosophy behind Marek's music teaching considers that,
Every person is inherently musical and that musical literacy is a human right,
music is food for the spirit,
music strengthens and enlivens the individual,
music can be used to soothe and help heal emotional trauma,
music helps build community!!
