MANNY VACCHIANO
BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in Chicago, Manny began playing music at the age of 8 and began writing songs at the age of 12. He played in a number of popular local bands in the Chicago area over a span of 2 decades, including the popular cover band The Wanderers. Inspired by the courage of Americans after the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Manny wrote and recorded his debut solo CD “Rise Above.” The CD was recorded at Big Rock Recording Studios in Escondido, California and co-produced by Manny and Andy Machin, one of San Diego’s top producers. “Rise Above” includes uplifting acoustic pop songs, many with implied or explicit patriotic references. Manny’s songs “Café Table” and “Here with Me” receive air play on two of the nation’s top adult pop stations, wKPRI in San Diego and wXRT in Chicago.
