The Boppers is a musician collective from Montreal, founded in 1998 by trombonist Benoit Gagné, a member of cult band Les Colocs. The Benoit's compositions of different musical themes are inspired by the past of emotions of the Prohibition years. Benoit is accompanied by the best artists of Quebec, interpreting his works; Benoît Piché on trumpet, bassist Jean Cyr, Normand Deveault the piano, drums and saxophone Martin Auguste André Leroux. Les Boppers live shows are a tribute to the era of the 50s, which saw great musicians such as Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie or Miles Davis and many others, fall into the shadows of the New York Underground while introducing the basics of this beautiful music.
