Lapciz has become a trademark for excellence in the music making scene. Born to a family of pure musicians in the Dominican Republic, Lapciz grew up listening to a wide variety of genres ranging from the latin sounds of Merengue and Salsa, to the rhythm of the early generations of Reggaeton, to the old school sounds of Jazz and Classical music. He was also strongly trained in the arts of the Piano.

Even though strongly influenced in music, what really open his eyes into making music his career was the sounds emerging from the great genre of Hip Hop. Lapciz currently attends Queensborough Community College to obtain a degree in Music Production and Recording Engineering. He also currently works with artists ranging in genres like Hip Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, and Bachata. Stay tuned for more!
